Super detailed AND "triple" fired, has
BOTH an 'Opal Luster' (over the blue overalls) and Platinum (on the 'scoop' of the shovel)!
This "Baby Country Mouse" measures 2" tall (from base to tip of his left ear), 2 1/4" across widest point on oval base), and 1 13/16" (front to back, on oval base).
This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (luster, gold, or platinum) firing.

This mouse is basically a white mouse with soft grey "air-brushing" on his tail, back of his head and ears, paws, and shoulders.
Grey has been used to give some additional details, on paws, and around mouth, teeth, and nose.
The eyes are baby blue, with black pupils, and white to add emphasis and highlighting.
The tiny pink nose invites being touched!
The one white tooth is flanked by 'rosy' cheeks that match the pink inside the ears.
He is holding the shovel, light brown handle, platinum 'scoop' in his right hand (paw).
He is mounted securely on an oval base.
