This is a PRECIOUS tiny Cocker Spaniel PUPPY!
It is currently being produced by the fine artists, in San Dimas, California, at Hagen-Renaker.
"Cocker Pup" (sitting up) measures 15/16" tall, by 5/8" wide (side to side), AND 5/8"deep (front nose to back tail).
It is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.
Hagen-Renaker, fine Potteries since 1946, still family owned AND; HANDCRAFTED IN AMERICA!
"Cocker Pup" (sitting up) is colored in the traditional (and most common) of the 'cocker' colors (tan accented with sienna brown).
The eyes and nose are defined with black, giving this little fellow lots of personality!
This little guy was designed by Don Winton, and is a reissue from the same mold used for the original Disney puppies from Lady and the Tramp.
Also available is "Papa Cocker" (HR0028), "Mama Cocker" (HR90), AND "Cocker Pup", Lying (HR91).
