This is a
VINTAGE & RETIRED MINIATURE sculpture that was available through the Hagen-Renaker regular line produced during the 1980's.
The details on this tiny guy are superior...
the face is SKILLFULLY detailed;
the eyes are simple black dots.
The nose and mouth is delicately defined.
Inside the ears, and the four paw pads have a light ecru color,
giving an emphasis to those areas.
The bear itself is a lovely bright cinnamon tone.
All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.
