Fenton's Ruby Ornament was handblown for Fenton USA by West Virginia's glass artisan Ron Hinkle.
This ornament is handcrafted in Fenton's classic "Ruby" Art Glass.
It measures approximately 3 1/4" in diameter.

This Limited Edition ''Golden Glimmer'' Ornament, on "Ruby Red" Art Glass Globe was created for 

the Fenton Christmas 2010 Collection, presented to Authorized Dealers.

The 'Globe' Ornaments were Handcrafted by West Virginia Glass Artist, Ron Hinkle.

Veteran Fenton Designer, Michelle Kibbe designed the Glamorous 'Golden Glimmer' Floral scene encircling the ornament. 

The Artistry of Ron Hinkle was perfectly complimented by the Fenton Factory Artists.
Fenton USA was pleased to partner with glass artisan Ron Hinkle to develop these marvelous ornaments.

 A native of Buchannon, West Virginia, Ron is fascinated by the movement and flow of molten glass.

 His work has been featured on the West Virginia Governor's Christmas Tree, and

 the Christmas Pageant of Peace trees at the White House.
Ron uses his glassmaking skills to create the classic Christmas tree ball shape,

finished with a delicate loop of applied glass. 

Each ornament is proudly signed by the talented Fenton artist who hand painted it.

The Golden Glimmer handpainted motif was designed by Michelle Kibbe.
As with all of the handpainted Fenton pieces, the talented Fenton factory artist who painted this piece,
signed the work. The artist on our last "Ruby", 'Golden Glimmer' globe ornament is D Fredrick
(Dane Fredrick).

FENTON™ ART GLASS
MADE IN THE USA

The Fenton Art Glass Company was founded in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton and
his brother John W. Fenton in an old glass factory building in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
They began by painting decorations on glass blanks made by other glass manufacturers. Soon, being unable
to get the glass they needed, they decided to produce their own glass.

The first glass from the new Fenton factory in Williamstown, West Virginia, was made on January 2, 1907. During its 106-year history,
Fenton introduced the first iridescent ware (now known as "Carnival glass") as well as classic patterns
such as Hobnail, Burmese and a wide variety of handmade colored art glass as limited editions.

Sadly, on July 6, 2011, the Fenton Art Glass Company announced that it would cease production of its collectible and giftware glass products.
The company had faced financial challenges since its restructuring in 2007, and recent developments combined to force the shutdown of its traditional glass making business.
