"Grandpa Bearsford" started out penniless after being abandoned in a Model T Ford!
Being an enterprising Social Climber, he crafted...Bears + Ford= 'a new Identity', that fit his Ambitions.

(Of course, the Official "Bearsford" Biography doesn't mention all this.)
