The "Shoe Box" series was added to the Boyd's resin line in 1996.
The figurines in this series have moveable arms and legs; thus making them poseable!
The series takes its' name from the boxs in which they are packaged, which resemble "Shoe Boxes"....ADORABLE...both the FIGURINES, and THE "SHOE BOXES"!

Designed just like the old time toys that inspired them; this Cowardly Lion features a jointed arm and both legs jointed.
It is decorated to pay tribute to L. Frank Baum's children's classic "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz."
