This is Momma Poodle, White w/Pink Bow, HR# 82.
We estimate these pieces to have been produced in the 1960's!
She measures approximately 1 7/8" long, from tip of nose to back left foot, 1 7/8" tall (to top notch of hair on head), and 1" wide, side to side at the widest points.
The detailing is EXCELLENT. Texture in the mould shows the "bubble" type cut of a classic "Poodle Cut" hair on the legs, top notch, ears and tip of ball shaped tail.
A small baby pink bow is decorating the top of her head!
Black dots define the eyes, and the tiny heart shaped nose.
This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.
All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.
