"Playful Dog" measures 1 5/8" tall, by 2 7/8" long. It is 2" at the widest point.
This piece is a high gloss fired glaze finish on a Ceramic clay base that was fired to approximately 2300 degrees Fahrenheit.

All of the Hagen Renaker miniatures listed on our website are "Fired " finishes; thus making them pieces of "China". Most of the pieces undergo at least two (2), with some having three (3) firings in a Ceramic kiln. Temperatures will vary from 2500 degrees to 1650 degrees, dependent as to a greenware (raw clay) firing, a glaze firing, or an overglaze (lustre, gold, or platinum) firing.

This playful dog is a lovely reddish brown, shaded with a darker brown which adds details to the confirmation of the dog, and texture to the dog's coat. Black is used to define the nose and detail the eyes.
The mouth is open and shows a salmon colored pink tongue.
