The Giraffe
the "Punkies" were FIRST INTRODUCED IN 2002...Ty Punkies
Ty created "TyTips" fabric especially for the Punkies product line
that was introduced in June, 2002.
TyTips is a soft, shaggy,
silky-feeling fabric with a unique texture.
Only 51 different plush
animals were produced for this Ty family line.
Treetop, the Giraffe was introduced on April 30, 2003
and was retired on March 27, 2006
As the tallest animal on Earth, you'd think that giraffes would be easy to spot
on safari. However, their distinctive brown and white markings serve as
exceptionally good camouflage, and it's not unusual for giraffes to
simply materialize out of the bush just a few feet away.
The last two Punkies
to retire were
Siren and
Lil' Siren on January 4, 2007.
SHAGGY, STRINGY, & 'PUNKIE'...
these are 'floppy' and
'poseable', cute & LOVABLE... STUFFED TOY CLOTH SCULPTURES.
"Treetop" the giraffe, measures approximately 9" tall.
Black plastic eyes and a hand stitched nostrils, and mouth
give Treetop SUCH PERSONALITY.
