This was a company that was producing in the last half of the 1990's,
from 1996 to 1999...RETIREMENT DATES carried over to 2000
only a couple of designs for schools retired in 2001 !!!
The Bean Bag Soft Sculpture,"Toy" craze was in FULL SWING!!!

The Collegiate Bean Bag Team Mascots were ALL OFFICIALLY LICENSED PRODUCTS by the NCAA...
Displaying that important logo on the "hang tag" of each plush mascot.
MOST OF THE STYLES WERE ACTUALLY INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED ON THE BACK OF THE "HANG TAG",
as IS THIS PIECE (see photo)...
This is NUMBERED 3617 !!! of ONLY 5000 MADE, WORLDWIDE... EXTREMELY LIMITED IN PRODUCTION.
THIS IS A VINTAGE DESIGN FROM 1999...IT IS NOS (Brand) NEW OLD STOCK !!!
Most of THESE "Bean Bags" were produced in less than 2000 units !!!
With the MOST PRODUCED for any College or University was ONLY 6000, WORLDWIDE...
PERFECT FOR ALUMNI AND FANS LOOKING FOR something SPECIAL...

YET IS SOMEWHAT UNIQUE...

This is "Herbie Husker"™ representing the University of Nebraska...located in Lincoln, Nebraska
He is a Soft Fabric Sculpture...!!! As stated on the inside of the "Hang tag" (swing tag) attached to his left arm.
"The Herbie mascot character was designed by Dick West
in conjunction with Nebraska's 1974 trip to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
Herbie is a burly, rugged and confident fellow who is proud of both the athletic
and agricultural traditions of the University of Nebraska."

Issue Date........................April 1999
Retirement Date....February 14, 2000
He measures: Sitting Height approximately 8" tall,
4" deep
and 6-1/2" side to side, at widest points on feet.
An ADORABLE, with cute detailing (see photos) soft fabric sculpture...!!!

This piece has long been Retired...since 2000 (the LAST year it was produced-1999).
It is BRAND NEW, PRISTINE CONDITION...it still has the new fabric sheen on the plush materials.
We were a HUGE DEALER for this fine "plush" product from this manufacturer.

The front has a large embroidered red N, forming the University of Nebraska logo.
